What are the benefits of IV and injection therapies?
Intravenous therapy and injections deliver fluids, vitamins, antioxidants, and nutrients directly into the bloodstream. It bypasses the gastrointestinal tract, which means you absorb 100% of all the “good” stuff! As a result, you feel better, faster.
Who will administer my IV or injection?
One of our friendly and professional nurse practitioners (np) or registered nurses (rn). ournps and rns are highly experienced at obtaining intravenous access. Many of our nurses currently work in various ER trauma units, surgery departments, and nicus, among other departments, while maintaining employment at the drip lounge!
How long do IV and injection therapies take?
After filling out a brief medical intake form, IV therapies usually take 30 – 45 minutes from start to finish, depending on your infusion! Intramuscular injections may take less than 5 minutes, and our IV “pushes” can be anywhere from 2-5 minutes, depending on the individual’s tolerance!
I’m pregnant. Can I get an IV?
We do not administer vitamins to pregnant women, however, after a consult with a nurse practitioner, we can administer fluids to pregnant women who are looking to hydrate.
Can a child get an IV?
Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to receive IV fluids.
